Year of the Horse

Branding for the Bloomingdale’s 2013 Year of the Snake and 2014 Year of the Horse campaigns. All horse and snake illustrations are original creations, and were used throughout store visuals, merchandise, promotional items and advertising.

Behind the illustrations

Because Bloomingdale’s is a NYC institution, I took inspiration from the art deco architecture of the 59th Street flagship store. The snake also takes the form of the iconic “b” from the Bloomingdale’s logo.
